Nature Lover
Living in the UK most of my life and having a Mum and Dad who are very avid gardeners, awoke me to the wonders of nature quite early on in life. However, I did not really appreciate my true passion for all things natural until I began to study Aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy instilled in me a passion for learning about fruits, flowers, herbs and trees that had not otherwise been there, even though I was surrounded by it all the time, luckily I now had my own garden in which to play.
I loved my garden in the UK and had lots of helper including my gnome Tigo,
who always watched over everything.
I have always been a lover of working with the elements (Air, Fire, Water, Earth & Spirit) and therefore also play with the Faye and Gnomes on a regular basis. It is my belief that all who have gardens or a love of nature should befriend a Gnome
This spring we had the largest snow fall for many years and many had to stay off work so many snowmen appeared and also many snowball fights happened. It was wonderful fun
I am also a real animal lover and loved to sit by the pond and watch the frogs and newts swimming about. I would sit in peaceful silence, just listening to the birds and the gentle sounds of rustling plants
andleaves or I would chant my mantras gently, with the power of nature to enhance them. Lovely!
We also had a whole community of sparrows living in our front hedge and they would join us in glorious song every morning.
We have now moved overseas to the wonderful land called Australia and I now have a garden of beaches to explore and I have exchanged the Oak and the Ash trees for the Gum tree and Wattle tree.
I hope to enjoy the great countryside of Australia just as much as the UK and have already discovered some fabulous places to sit and meditate under the great gums and the oak trees here. I have also been priviliaged to catch sight of possum and the occasional bat flying across my path at night.
So on to new adventures…
Wish me luck
